Police officers, staff and volunteers recognised in Queen's Birthday Honours

Members of the police service are included in honours which recognise the achievements of a wide range of extraordinary people across the UK.

National Police Chiefs' Council Chair, Martin Hewitt said:

“I am proud that so many members of our police service have been named in the Queen’s birthday honours, and I offer my warmest congratulations to them.

“They join a distinguished list of officers and staff who have been honoured for their outstanding contribution to policing, and their dedication to keeping the public safe. On behalf of all chiefs, I extend our thanks to them all.

“Chiefs also extend their warm congratulations to the NPCC’s first Chair, Sara Thornton - who has received a DBE for her services to policing. She has dedicated her career to public service and provided strong leadership during a time of change for our profession.”
