NPCC Chair Sara Thornton responds a report by thinktank Reform about the future of policing
National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) Chair, Chief Constable Sara Thornton, said:
“Reform’s report ‘How to run a country: crime and policing’ is a useful contribution to the debate taking place across the service about how we meet the challenges of austerity and changing crime and demand. The NPCC is working with the Home Office, College of Policing and others with a stake in this issue to design and deliver the transformation needed in policing to provide a service that people value and that keeps them safe from harm into the future.”
