Failings identified in Rotherham that left children being abused will be addressed in national action plan on child sexual exploita

National Policing Lead for Child Sexual Exploitation Chief Constable Simon Bailey said:

“Nothing is more important in policing than protecting vulnerable people so it is shocking to read how children and young people were let down by agencies in Rotherham.

“I will carefully consider the report and will ensure that all the failings that have been identified are addressed within the national child sexual exploitation action plan so that we can protect children and young people.”
