ACPO comment on lead force arrangement for National Police Air Service

ACPO lead for the National Police Air Service, Chief Constable Alex Marshall, said:

"The decision made by West Yorkshire Police Authority today is a positive step forward in becoming the lead force for the National Police Air Service (NPAS). The NPAS team and I will continue to work with West Yorkshire police to ensure that the conditions set by the police authority are answered quickly in order to implement NPAS with the priority being a strong operational service and effective coverage delivered in the most cost effective way."
